Why Leeward Exists

Preparedness can look complete on paper and still fall apart in practice. Across decades of service, we saw the same gap again and again: policies were in place, but limited training, resources, and real-world application kept them from becoming reliable action. Leeward Solutions exists to close that gap by turning written plans into practical processes your people can understand, use, and sustain when it matters most.

Our Story

Field Experience

Jeff Straub is a U.S. Navy Fleet Marine Force Corpsman veteran with more than 30 years in EMS, hospital safety, and emergency management. He helped develop South Carolina’s first Hospital Emergency Response Team and regional Mortuary Assistance Strike Teams. He coordinated patient reception for about 15 years in the National Disaster Medical System, including exercises and responses to Hurricanes Katrina and Maria.

What This Means for Clients

Clients get practical support grounded in real operations: clear priorities, usable plans, role-based training, realistic exercises, and follow-through on improvement actions. We tailor the scope to the organization’s people, facilities, partners, and most important continuity needs.
